Prison/Jail Ministry

Ministers to those persons who are incarcerated by providing cell
block Bible study and Worship Services at the Lorton Maximum Security
Facility and the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. This ministry
seeks to be a compassionate agent of God's love for all persons.

The Homeless Ministry

Ministers to the needs of
the homeless, those persons who are left to live their lives on the
streets of our city. It involves the distribution of food and
clothing, partnering with Habitat for Humanity and offers an
opportunity for personal evangelism. This ministry provides a support
system to respond to the homeless crisis and relates to the total
person socially and economically.

The mission of the Antioch Baptist Church Evangelism and
Visitation Ministry is to .
The
purpose is to develop a focused and comprehensive Evangelism Plan,
then spearhead it’s execution. The scope of the plan should be both
internal Antioch, a domestic plan and an international plan. Then
working in concert with various other ministries (Christian education,
communication, etc.) conduct evangelistic training in the church, and
spearhead various other evangelistic activities throughout the year.

introduction to the Antioch worship experience by greeting and seating
our members and guests. This ministry is comprised of all age groups,
exhibits both dedication and experience as it assists with the orderly
conduct of our services and the collection of tithes and offerings.

This ministry provides
loving and compassionate care to shut-ins, those hospitalized with
illness or injury, or those who need a special touch and are unable to
join us in our corporate Celebration gathering. In our congregation,
there are many and diverse opportunities for this particular arm of
outreach ministry.
