A Message From Our Pastor

"It is our goal to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you visit."

Hi, I'm Marshal Ausberry, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church. Thank you for taking time to visit our website. Antioch is a warm, loving, Bible believing, Bible teaching church who strives to "Love God and Love Others." I encourage and invite you to one of our three worship services on Sunday mornings. Our worship services are held at 8 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am. When you arrive on our campus, I encourage you to turn on your 4 way flashers so our Parking Ministry will recognize you as a "First Time Guest" and direct you to a parking space located close to the front doors. Again, thank you for visiting our website and I look forward to seeing you in worship in the near future.

Walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. If you are considering attending one of our worship gatherings, we pray that you would take the vulnerable step and come check it out! We can't fully describe what you will experience, but at least we can try to give you an idea of what to expect.

When you walk through our doors you will see all types of people. You may see people in suits and ties, you may see people in jeans and shirts. It does not matter what you wear to church, as long as you come. We just want you to know that as soon as you walk through those doors you are welcomed and loved for who you are. If you have any questions about our services, we want to hear from you. Feel free to connect with me or our staff for anything that you might need. We look forward to meeting with you.

We strive to make sure every time you come to Antioch that you are blown away by the love and support from everyone here. For your convenience we offer Sunday School for children & adults during the 9:30am service and for adults during the 11:30am service. Above all, we strive do our very best to make you feel at home.

We believe that man was created by and for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice. Also in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in the right relationship with God.  We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son.

We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are to be observed until the time of Christ’s return. They are not a means of salvation. Baptism in water is by immersion and a direct commandment of our Lord for believers only. Water baptism is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in death, burial and resurrection. Matthew 26:26-29; 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Romans 6:3-11; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34; Col 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21.
