Mission: The overall mission of the Health and First Aid ministry is to serve God by providing comfort care when medical issues or concerns arise among Antioch members and guests. Additionally, we seek to challenge, educate, motivate, equip, and encourage God’s people to take better care of their bodies which are temples. This mission will be accomplished by comfort care (basic first aid) and various thought-provoking initiatives to help mentally, physically, and spiritually build the body of Christ.
Ministry Opportunities:
Members of the First Aid Ministry do not have to be medical professionals but at a minimum should be certified in basic first aid, CPR, and use of the AED.
Members of the First Aid Ministry are expected to serve at least 1-2 services per month on a rotating basis. Members are expected to be prayerful, and aware and visually monitor the congregation or activity for care needs. In the event of a medical concern, first aid members should take the lead in directing comfort care and directing the calling of EMS when necessary.

The Antioch Decoration Ministry supports all other ministries by providing decoration with flowers, artifacts, and other aesthetically pleasing compliments. Our ministry also provides support to wedding coordinators and funeral coordinators. The ministry supports most of Antioch’s main activities/programs, for example: Holiday decorations, banquets, repast, prayer breakfasts, Veteran’s Day, Women’s retreats, fellowships, etc. The primary goal of the Decoration Ministry is to edify the beauty of the church programs by providing decoration support on a continuous basis. The committee must be flexible and ready to provide support to ABC ministries.
