We believe that each Christian is called to a wonderful life of obedience to Jesus. One of his clearest commands is that of bringing lost people to a saving knowledge of Him. God calls us to reach the lost across the street and around the world.

Annual Thanksgiving Basket Project

Our Community Thanksgiving Basket Project is an ongoing effort to aid & support families in the counties of Fairfax & Prince William, as well as the surrounding areas. This year, volunteers are needed to serve on Nov 22nd & 23rd. For more info, please contact us.

Christmas Giving Tree Project

The purpose of the Christmas Giving Tree is to minister to families in need during the Christmas holiday season by spreading the love of Jesus through giving. The Christmas Giving Tree will assist Antioch Members and Families from Organizations, and Schools.

Elderly Care
POC: Sis Candace Poarch Baines/Deacon Cary Threat
The purpose of Elderly Care Ministry is to minister to the spiritual & emotional needs of senior citizens and their custodian in our community and our congregation through a variety of programs, fellowship activities & visitation.
Number of Volunteers Needed – 16+
Homeless
To show God's love while delivering and serving meals, clothing, blessing bags, and sharing the Gospel with the homeless on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Activities occur in two phases – 1) Meal Assembly and 2) Meal Delivery.
Number of Volunteers Needed – 12+ homeless.
Jail & Prison
POC: Deacon Sandra Nelson
Ministers to those persons who are incarcerated by providing cell block Bible study and Worship Services at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Serves on the 1st & 4th Sundays in the Adult Detention Center and 4th Tuesday in the Youth Detention Center.

Justice Empowerment

To keep members informed & connected with salient community decisions, activities, and events.This ministry meets every 2nd Thursday of the month.

Partners in Prayer
POC: Bro. Keith Yancey
PPM's purpose is to encourage Antioch members to seek a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the prayer. Also, to encourage the church to "pray without ceasing" as in I Thess. 5:17. This ministry meets every 2nd Tuesday and as needed via Zoom.

Ushers
POC: Trustee Willie Horne/Sis. Lolita Clawson
Support Worship Services, Special Events & Funerals. Provide an initial introduction to the church worship experience by greeting & seating our members & visitors. Our group of all ages assists with the orderly conduct of our services.

World Vision 6K Walk/Run/Roll for Water
POC: Rev. Michael Coppedge/Rev. Rochella Marable
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization working with children, families & their communities. Antioch sponsors an annual 6K event each year. Volunteers are needed to provide planning, logistical and administrative support.
